THE JOURNEY OF LUIS

Avatar

Welcome! I’m Luis, and this is a summary of my story so far. From my early days as a scientist in training, to my days as a system architect, every experience has made me the man I am today: A man with big goals, and a lot of drive to make them not only possible, but inevitable.

I
Olympic Drive

Since I was young, I’ve naturally taken the lead. At 17, I trusted myself enough to say yes to Spain’s Biology Olympiad, and that leap paid off: I won the Andalusian phase, qualified for nationals, and at 18 proudly earned gold medal, all while preparing for college entrance exams, which I passed with top grades. I was also invited to the international phase in Japan and to visit Spain’s top laboratories, though the 2020 pandemic cancelled these plans.

Speaking on television, radio, and in the news was an entirely new experience for me, yet I found myself navigating it as if it were second nature. Those first interviews lit a spark inside me, showing me that ideas can travel far beyond the lab or classroom. It was there when the current Luis was truly born, with a growing desire not only to invent but to change the world.

II
A Turning Point

I studied biology in college, achieving great success with 11 honors in just three years. Yet in my third year, I discovered my true passion: automation, and robotics. I made the hard decision to leave academia and pursue this entrepreneurial dream, leveraging my scientific knowledge as a foundation, while still attending academic events across a broad range of disciplines to continually learn and grow as an entrepreneur.

I thrive in the field, hands-on with robots, software, and ideas, turning theory into application. Every challenge becomes an opportunity, and what once seemed impossible becomes inevitable.
I love biology, and it remains a key influence on my technology design decisions. In addition, my training as a scientist shapes my approach to business and life: formulate a hypothesis, gather data, and try to disprove it. This rigorous method allows me to validate ideas in an unbiased way, keeping my management rational, even during challenging times.

III
The Horizon

I see the future as a landscape of endless possibilities, shaped by the intersection of disciplines. My strength lies in moving effortlessly between biology, chemistry, physics, business, and technology, connecting ideas that others might consider unrelated. This multidisciplinary fluency allows me to spot opportunities, solve complex problems, and turn concepts into tangible innovations. As an entrepreneur, I leverage this broad vision to bridge gaps between science and application, transforming insights from diverse fields into strategies, products, and new technologies.

This ability has proven to be a huge strength for me and a boost for my teams. By acting as a bridge between disciplines, I help collaborators combine their expertise to create multidisciplinary technologies that tackle complex challenges, addressing both broad and nuanced problems in innovative ways.
